Spirit Catcher's Story
By September the work of the Butterfly is complete.
Butterfly is the original shape shifter who has transformed herself into
the true beauty she was meant to be. She has laboured hard in the garden
to provide herself with food. Along the way she has helped to pollinate
the flowers. She has spread joy and beauty to those who marvel at her
tireless toil.
Hers is no easy task for she is prey to birds who look
upon her merely as a tasty morsel to satisfy their own needs. Although
her life is short, it is never dull. She reminds us that life is 'wonder
filled' as long as we are aware of the bounty that surrounds us and are
willing to partake in that bounty. Her spirit strong, by September the
magic she has woven and the hardships she has endured will insure the
future of her kind.
The Chi
This Spirit Catcher brings a potent energy to the
garden. It encourages the powers of transformation and faith to be ever
present in this space. As a symbol for the soul, the Butterfly speaks of
joy in all aspects of life. They remind us not to take ourselves so
seriously but to become aware of the beauty of each moment as it unfolds
in its own humble way. The only constant is change for no moment in time
is quite like any other moment before or since.
