Mad Hatter’s Tea Party

Wednesday July 9 2-4pm

We kick off the fun with a 'naming' ceremony where you will receive a very special 'alias'. Decorate a fancy hat we provide for you or bring your own to decorate here. Wear it for the events of the afternoon, as you play games of chance. This afternoon is highlighted by a 'Most Creative Hat' contest. Come prepared for lots of fun and some Seriously Silliness!

Elemental Faerie Tea

Wednesday August 6 2-4pm

After you have been given a Faerie name, take time to make a magic wand. Then the wee folk will guide you through the gardens on a scavenger hunt. Hidden among the rocks and flowers are clues to guide you. After your merry sojourn, relax in the shade and enjoy some wonderful faerie tales told and read for your pleasure. Magic is merely a gentle shift in consciousness as you open your heart to the Faerie Realm.

Magical Musical Tea Party

Wednesday July 23 2-4pm

No need to be a musician! We are here to celebrate being 'perfectly imperfect'. Explore the garden and discover that ordinary objects found there can become magically musical as well. Local musicians will guide you in the making of a simple instrument. Use it as we create a musical masterpiece. Under the guidance of our 'Maestro', we will serenade the 'Hundread Acher Woulds'.

Flower Fantasy Tea Party

Wednesday August 20 2-4pm

A guided search of the garden will help you identify the flowers you will need for the events of the afternoon. Discover the meaning of these flowers according to the Victorian 'Language of Flowers'. Armed with this knowledge, have fun composing your own 'secret message' using only flowers. Take home a card you have made, a picture you have composed and a story or poem you have created.
